Lola was scared of thunderstorms. She crawled into bed with Mom and shook like a leaf. So when it started to thunder Mom would throw a party. We played, worked on learning new tricks, and she gave us treats when her tail was up. Pretty soon thunder didn't seem so bad to her, and now she sleeps through them. Mom still throws thunder parties every now and then.
