Foster home for Akita needed ASAP

The rescue I work with just picked up a 2 year old female Akita who was scheduled to be euthanized at 4pm yesterday. We knew she was underweight at about 70 pounds, but we now are also aware that she is heartworm positive and is not yet spayed. We know she is very sweet and loving with adults but, due to her health situation, we aren't comfortable introducing her to other animals yet. The rescue will get her spayed, take care of the heartworm treatment, and get her vaccinations up to date, but we really need a pet-free foster home where she can stay and be taken care of while all of this is done and we look for a permanent home for her. She is a beautiful girl and her coloration is known as "pinto".
