	I'm 6 months old and have been living with my new Mommy and Daddy for one day! I LOVE it here! I was living in a very bad place. If anyone out there has any suggestions on training a Pyr, we would appreciate any insight - I'm my Mommy's first Pyr.

	Just be firm and consistent. They don't always want to do what they're told so be sure to follow through every time you give them a command or they will quickly learn that they don't have to do what you asked. You have to be more stubborn than they are!

A pyr off leash- is a dyspyr

	Hi there and welcome. Consistency is definitely what counts with a pyr. Hopefully Chelle will stop in and say hi...she is great with advice and training... Abby was my first dog ever so I try not to give "training advice" as our relationship has been based on who gives up first. Thank the Lord she is a good sweet dog. I will say the most important thing I found was to really socialize her with lots of different people and situations.
