Do you ever see a glimmer of the "pitbull" behavior in your dogs. The only time I do in mine is when a stranger rings the doorbell or someone acts like they may be hurting my kids. Other than that, I have a hard time believing all the crap you hear about all the time. I think the pits are getting blamed no matter what kind of dog it is. The saying "pit bull type" is the saying here in Houston. Tired of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never see any "pitbull" behavior type from Aeris. She's just a really energetic and affectionate girl. I told my husband from now on we will only have pitbulls and rotties. cloud 9

I haven't seen allot of pitbull behavior in Angellittle angel . The only time that I have seen it is when we go on walks. If someone passes us on a bike. She will start to growl, or around dogs. Like she is ok with my neighbors dog. But strange dogs she gets bery protective over me. But all in all she is the sweetest and most loyal dog that I have ever ownd. She is a wonderful dog. I love hercloud 9

What is Pit Bull type of behavior? The only thing I can think of is the 'dog aggressive' type behavior especially with same sex dogs. The barking when the door bell rings, growling at bikes, etc. is typical of a lot of breeds.

My Sagie is the sweetest dog you will ever meet never acts like a pit. I always tell people we never tell her she's a pit. It's funny how the media has picked up on the pit and make it sound as if they are the only dangerous dogs on the planet when the reality is that there are several breeds of dogs who have been bred to be aggressive it's not just the pits you have to worry about. WHen I was about 5 I was bit by a german shepherd. Who knows all I know is that my pit is one of the sweetest most loving dogs I know. It's my hound mix you have to worry about if you come near me. Sagie would probably just lick you to death...........I guess if that's agression then everydog should be considered aggressive. One final thought I live in a trasitional house for women and children as a staff member. A couple of weeks ago I let my dogs out to play with the children. Sagie got to running so fast she ran over one of the children. That same week we were walking around doing our nightly rounds and this same child was out playing. Sagie saw her and ran up to her and immediatley gave her a kiss on the chin as if saying I'm sorry I got so fast. I guess it boils down to perspective and knowing you and your dog.
