Roscoe is an APB/Lab mix. He's a beautiful little brindle boy. At 10 weeks, Roscoe and his sister were thrown from the window of a moving car- their owners were scared of the pitbull side of him. He and his sister were hit by the car behind them and his sister was killed instantly. A woman sitting on her porch who had witnessed the whole thing rushed into the street and scooped up Roscoe and took him to the local vet clinic immediately. He had a few scuffs and bruises that have left scars on his underbelly and legs. He had also been abused before the incident with the car- he's still very hand shy. I met Roscoe when I started working at the clinic (they had decided to keep him until they could find him a home). He had been there over a month in the kennels. The very first weekend that I worked there we were very busy, and all of the foster dogs there were going home with the workers. I ended up with Roscoe, and he's never been back. He's so sweet and gets along great with my German Shepherd, Brody, and is really making great strides toward complete recovery!
