Hello everyone! I'm Lexiss and I'm a deaf dane. People make the mistake of thinking I'm stupid or dangerous. Mom and I hate it! People have even asked why I wasn't put to sleep because I was deaf!

I was just wondering if there were anymore beautiful, smart, deaf danes out there. I hope we can be friends!

Hi Im also a deaf fabulous merle dane. My mom saved me as she was sure Id be put down if someone else took me home and realized I was completely deaf. It really doesnt hinder me at all except when I dont want to look at my humans since I need to see the commands to understand - when I want to be the toddler I am - I just ignore them and look the other way. ROFL

I'm deaf too but I know I'm loved. My Mommy has even taken me to school with her to meet to girls on her soccer team. They all helped name me because they knew I was so special. Next year I'm going to get to go to all the games with them. They are even having a coat made for me with my name on it.
My Mommy, Daddy, Brother & Sister don't care I can't hear them. They love me anyway. If any of you can give them any ideas on the best way to train me I know they would appreciate it very much. I am sitting, most of the time but I think they want me to do more than sit. I still get really scared at night when I'm in bed and I wake them up so I know they would like some ideas on how to make the night time better for me.
