Puppy Thrown From Truck Needs Home

I picked up this puppy and two of its littermates when they ran in front of my car on a rural highway -- they were dumped from a passing pickup truck. I've managed to find good homes for two of them and am really hoping to place the third one ASAP.

He's absolutely beautiful -- a lab mix, about 4 months old -- his litter mates looked like pure black labs, but this guy is something special ... He is fluffier than a lab, all black except for a small white stripe on his chest and beautiful light brown streaks along each side of his neck.  Must see to understand how unique he is. Of the three puppies, this one was my favorite -- he's got loads of personality (just look at the pictures below), and is incredibly intelligent -- a quick learner ... It only took a few minutes to crate train him, now he tells me when he needs to go outside. He's calm, happy to just be near people, but also likes to play and loves other dogs. He will make a wonderful companion for someone. He is walking with a slight limp now, which will be healed in a day or two-- he's recovering from the bruising he got when thrown from the truck (I only wish I'd caught the person who threw him out!). He's been checked by a vet and is completely healthy, with no actual damage to his leg, just a bruise. He's ready to go to a good home, so please, forward this along to anyone and everyone who might be able to help. He's now in Memphis, but I'm happy to help get him wherever he needs to go for a good home.
