Thanks for showing interest in this group. As many of us have been aware, Breed Specific Bans are popping up around the country, and now, that it's approaching us, doggies and our parents, in the state of Minnesota. John Lesch is planning to introduce BSL to our state, that would effect Pit Bulls, Chow Chows, Rottweilers, Akitas, and Wolf-hybrids--including the mix breeds of such. This means that we may lose our families, friends, and, worst of all, our lives to this discriminative ban that is inhumane and offers no real solution. Most dog owners would agree that regulations should be in place to restrict the ownerships of certain breeds and tougher laws against animal cruelty and dog fighting. We, as dogs and dog owners, must unite to educate and offer a better solution to the public to change the image of these breeds. Once again, thank you for your love and support for all dogs.smile

Thank you Bella...we have writen to our Representative Sheldon Johnson we got the standard thanks for your interest but the bill has not been introduced yet and we have not looked at the issue to see where we stand yetconfused...thanks for all the petition links and I also emailed Leschhughughug....we are very upset about all of this it is so unfair cry
