My name is Onawa Marie and I am a wolfdog. I am 60% wolf and 40% husky dog. As you can imagine there are many times I get kicked out of the park or chased away from the beach just because my apearance scares people. I like to play and I am just a baby so I am often seen( as I bound twords a fellow doggie) as "chasing" or "attacking" other animals when all I am doing is playing. Can they not see the huge smile on my face? I really dislike stupid people. Good thing my Mom would rather take me to the hills to hike or a little lake where I don't have to deal with them. She has a rescue kennel for others like me so I am not lonely ever. I also have my perminent brother Danny. All I want is to love and lick . My Mom hates stupid people too and we really liked this site. We cannot believe that more pups are not writing in it. My Mom sais that she wishes people would be nicer to me when we go into public. how else am I going to learn how to be a good social doggie?! Sometimes she sais that people are just jelous of me cuz' I am so beautiful and that they fear me cuz' they are ignorant. Peace to all and ban the stupid people. Not the breed.

My family has has the most terrible time with finding places to live due to breed restrictions. Luckily right now we rent a house and have been fine. But it takes Momma so much effort to find a new place to live. GSD's are on the restricted breed list almost everywhere. They say we are mean and vicious. German Shepherds are great apartment dogs. They have a low energy level indoors and if trained properly don't have a mean bone in there body. When I live in a rental I am very respectable. I don't destroy anything. I don't cause alot of noise. I don't go to the bathroom in the house. I'm well behaved and very well trained. Renters who do meet and greets with my family always choose us as renters. We don't deserve our bad reputation just like the other dogs that have them. Every dog is an individual and should be judged as such.
