She fights me for it...seriously she hates it!
I used s toy squeaker for awhile but she finally killed it too!

The clicker can be replaced with any noise that is not common. A high, happy "yes!!!" works too. You can try that.

Also, once the behaviour is learned, weaned off the treats - every other, then every third, etc. You do not want to wean your dog off treats altogether, you will eventually do it randomly. Also, use small treats - tiny pieces of hot dog or liver. Canine Carryouts break up easily. Just small (smaller than your pinky nail). Or you can use their kibble (providing thats what you feed) and they get training and dinner at one time!
