I wanted to introduce my Sweet Millie. We were looking for a mini dachshund to adopt and were asked to foster her. i fell in love with her immediately. the shelter told us she was 5-6 years old and then our vet told us she was probably more like 9-10 years old. you certainly can't tell it by the way she acts. She is my once in a lifetime dog. She has recently become a therapy dog and makes everyone at the nursing homes and hospitals smile. she always has her ball in her mouth. She loves kids. she seeks them out and will play ball with them all day long. we recently found out that she has a grade two heart murmur and so we should slow things down with her, but that wouldn't make her happy. so we will keep doing what we can do for as long as we can do it.
