Piedmont Park Kennel - Beware

My co-worker's friend Keith and his partner Charles had a wedding to go to in TN this weekend, so they boarded their 2 dogs at Piedmont Bark kennels. Around 2pm this afternoon, they got a call that Sullivan, Charles' dog of 12 years, had been found unresponsive and was rushed to the vet. Upon speaking to the vet, it was determined that the dog (a small Shih-tzu type dog) had been attacked and killed by a larger dog. Apparently the person who was to be supervising a "play group" for the dogs decided to leave them unattended while she went to the supply store. Subsequently the larger dog killed Sullivan.
Piedmont Bark has offered apologies, but little else.

Keith has asked to help him spread the word of this to as many people as possible.
This kind of situation is UNACCEPTABLE. He intends to file a complaint with the ASPCA, as well as reaching out to a variety of media sources to get the word out about Piedmont Bark.
