I've got THE- Life!

My friend Cindy had to put 2 of her pups to sleep. She saw no other way out of her predicament and had already done it before I had a chance to make any arrangements, not that I knew what I could do. She is living with her son and is very depressed. I am actually concerned for her wellbeing. I know that what she did may be considered unforgivable by we dog-lovers. Believe me, she considers herself to be so. But please, in spight of that, please pray for her, if you can find it in your heart.

Sparky, as much as it hurts, it was probably the only way out she knew...there are so so many in difficult straights ...we will certainly keep her in prayer, she must be devastated by having had to do that; its hard enough when our animals are sick or very very old. May the good Lord give her rest and peace and aid in this difficult time. M&M

I have another update on Lucy... more good news! way to go

She came through her oral surgery okay (she had the non-cancerous growth removed). She is dealing with a lot of pain, but she is eating soft foods and seems to be well on her way to being back to her normal life.

Good news about Daisy, the Maltese who was attacked:

OT:Thank you for your prayers/Daisy Update

I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers for Daisy (my brother's little Maltese that was mauled last Friday. Once again, I have had my belief in miracle reaffirmed. Even though it looked like she didn't have a chance in the world of making it through this, with a five and a half hour surgery that put her little body back together, the vet saved her life. They let my brother and his family see her yesterday, she recognized them, wagged her tail, and tried to stand up. She may never regain full use of her back legs, but that's an easy thing to deal with compared to what could have been. They are still concerned about infection, but it looks like she might be able to go home with her loving family on Monday!

As for the dog that did the attacking - it is still living next door to my brother's family. The police shrugged it off and told him to contact Animal Control, while Animal Control is telling him to talk to the police. It looks like he's going to have to find a lawyer.

Thank you so much everyone, for your kind words and support during this very scary time.
