I think all the extra attension Pit Bulls get in the news is total BS! If it were any other breed the story would never have been aired or printed!! One of my friends works for the akron beacon journal, and she told me that they got a call from this lady that said she got attacked by a dog and when they asked her what kind of dog she told them a dalmation.....no one came to her house..no one called her back.....no one gave a crap. then 2 days later the same lady called back and she changed her story saying it was a PIT BULL that attacked her....
Geuss what?!!.....within a half an hour 3 T.V. stations were in her drive way.
NOTHING...NOTHING! pisses me off more then all the bad press that these AMAZING dogs get!
These dogs use to be "America's Dog". They were a symbol of American Pride! They Were on posters lining the streets......Now...There are posters lining the streets.....but the posters now have a differant meaning now....

Bring Back America's Favorite Dog! Be A Pit Bull Ambasador! Take care of your dog! Train Your Dog! Love Your Dog! Take Pride in you dog! Remind the world that these are good dogs once more!

I do say thumbs up to youapplause I had my white american pit for many years up until a month ago yesterday. Where we used to live our neighbor had fed him raw meat meth and gun powder. We did our best to help him but it was too late. We had to make the decision to let him out of his miseryinstead of holding on to him for our own selfishness. This woman did it just because he was pit. He was the most loyal loving gentle dog I have ever had. He loved our children and would cry when he couldnt be outside the yard to play with them. He slept at the ends of their beds and nightly would go through the house checking on everyone. I couldnt have asked for a better buddy. Pits are kind and gentle by nature. Its society and bad owners that give these babies bad reps. I say punish the deed NOT the breed!!!!!!!!!!!

i love pitts they are very loyal dogs. people dont realize its any dog can attack people or fight others dogs its not just pitts. there are so many dog attacks out in this world but the main ones that get reported are pitts and get put on the news but they dont do that to any other breeds it makes me mad.
