My Staffie makes me happy. He sees me unhappy and he licks my face and makes me forget about the sadness.
He keeps me busy. When I hear a sound around the house that I have never heard before he makes me go down/up stairs to see what he and his sister have gotten into.
he barks at the few people who go by to make sure I am safe.

i understand what you mean...imagine that times 3...when i feel down all i have to do is go outside, and i get bombarded by my dogs...i love it...i wouldn't have it any other way...i would have all 3 of them sleep with me if i was allowed
