	Hi! we are moving to central Tucson over the next few months. What should we know? where are the great dog parks? What are some fun dog places? any suggestions for a lab who loves to swim? Are ther leash laws? thanks for any help or tips!

	I moved here almost a year ago from Oregon with my two big dogs. I was a little worried about the summer, but we seem to be doing pretty well. We miss the water, it's just not the same if you're coming from a place with lots of water. But the hiking is amazing and we take our dogs with almost everywhere. There are definitely leash laws here. And I haven't pushed it, but I'm told they are definitely enforced. And there are several dog parks here. So far we love it. And if you're a bike rider, you'll definitely love it. Just be careful when and where you take your dogs. Cactus is definitely an issue. You'll get very good and giving your dog a good once (twice, three times) over when you get home. We've never had any problems, but we're pretty careful. Have fun!!! Let us know how you like it.

	Hi and welcome to the desert! We have quite a few dog parks and there are definately leash laws. Also you cannot tie a dog out in Arizona and don't ever, ever leave a dog in a car anytime of year. The police will break windows to get a dog out and then you get a ticket on top of it. Even in the winter the temperatures in a car here get very hot with all our sunshine! 	thanks so much for responding! we are here now! living in midtown. we have bikes and i can be seen riding around the neighborhood with walter! you were right...i do miss the water SO MUCH! i am looking for a pond or lake or SOMETHING just to sit near. I thing the dog park nearest to us is the Reid park ...but i havent been there yet. is it worth going to?
