Hi! we are moving to central Tucson over the next few months. What should we know? where are the great dog parks? What are some fun dog places? any suggestions for a lab who loves to swim? Are ther leash laws?

Tucson is very strict about leaving pets unattended in cars.

It is a felony and it is enforced year-round.

By the way, that goes for children too.

The Humane Society has a wonderful dog park and loads of good classes that range from snake avoidance to dog dancing. I like them best because they require owners to show proof of vaccinations and to actually pay attention to what their dog is doing so things don't get out of control - and there is an air-conditioned and covered place for the owners to sit and relax and chat.
