Beagador Advice!!!

Hello!
I figured I would bring this question up to fellow beagador owners... maybe someone is on the same boat as I am! I am a female who owns an almost 3yr old beagador male. I adopted him about 2 years ago from the local animal control center... At first (until recently) he was very shy and afraid of men... The only man he is completely comfortable with is my boyfriend.
Recently, he began growling (deep growling) and barking (the low... mean kind of barking!) at men when I walk him....We live in a building with many units..and he only shows this aggression in the hallways or elevators--He's perfectly fine around men when we are outside...if anything, when we are outside he's a bit timid. But, when my boyfriend walks him, he doesn't show any aggression at all towards men.

I'm not sure what to do.... does anyone else see this in their beagador pups?

My female Willow is very aggresive towards anyone when we are outside of the house. Maybe your boy is just being protective of you in your building. We never socialized Willow very much in the past and she is very scared around people,, except for the few she knws. So thats why I think Willow is agressive. I hope you can figure out why he does this.
