I have had Pebbles for about 2 weeks now. I have been brought up with dogs but Pebbles is MY first dog and my first chihuahua!

She is so cute and has such a big personality it feels like i have always had her.

I started this group as i have come to realise when researching about chiahuahua's that they seem quite rare in the UK (well people seem to keep them quite secret if not! hehe), there are loads of forums for chihuahua but not many members are from the UK.

I have loads of questions which i am sure all you chihuahua experts will be able to answer so join chi fubabies group and share your wisdom.

Aww, she's so cute! Baby (at least, I think that's what I'm naming her) will be my first ever dog, and she's a Chihuahua x Jack Russell (although you can't really see any jack russell in her yet)

I'm picking her up on the 13th of May smile She really is going to be my spoilt little Baby! xD

Awww, Pebbles and Baby are both adorable! x x x

I got my first Chihuahua the November before last, so I've had Theo for around a year and a half now - and I could not live without him OR his surrogate Chi bro, Brucie!!! (Who I adopted in March last year. He was so teeeeeeeeeny weenie when we first saw him, aged just 12 weeks! But is a big beautiful boy now weighing 1.9kg (well... not big, but all grown up. Awww!) So Brucie makes our family complete (although, had I the £, space and time, I'd LOVE lots more!!!)

They are charming, cheeky, endearing little creatures that capture your heart from the very first moment you meet! laugh out loud

Brucie is so funny and has a character like no other. Although he's been very poorly this past week, we're startin' to see his personality slowly reappearing and I'm delighted! (Get well soon Brucifer! x)

I have to admit I don't know anyone, or even know of anyone, in my area who owns a Chihuahua! Hee hee! Would love my Chihuahuas to meet other Chis and see them play!!! Brucie always wants to play with the BIG dogs - he does worry me at times!!! big grin

Bit of a long post - I do apologise! But Chihuahua's do excite me so!

Enjoy EVERY moment you have with your doggies - they are very precious! x x x

Brucie is a little cutie and a little fighter! I have read your diary entry about poor Brucies epilepsy and i wish him a speedy recovery! All dog owners worry about their dogs when they are sick but as a chi owner we worry just that little bit more as they are so tiny! Keep us updated on his recovery and hopefully he will be back to his full healthy self soon.

Thanks Lydz! x

It's been a good couple of weeks for Brucie and he's about 99.9% better!!! Yey! Very very mischievious and playful!

It was VERY scary at one point, and he really was breaking my heart. I will NEVER take my boys for granted again. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean that I didn't appreciate them before, but you do take for granted how long or short a time you actually get to spend with these beautiful creatures! I expected to have at least 12 - 15 years of fun with these guys! Honestly. I never considered illness or injury. We look after them too well! Sounds silly, but I've wanted to take them for a good run on the beach (which, fortunately, we did get to do the week before Bruce was hospitalised!) and for a long walk at Sherwood Forest and to Blackpool etc. and it was awful to think that maybe I'd ran out of time!!!

Luckily, we've won that time back - and I can't stop fussing both pups like they're fragile princes!

I do appreciate everyones kind thoughts and love! It has meant a lot! And I am THRILLED to let you know that he is doing very well! cloud 9

(He's just got a check up on Monday to check the levels of medication in his blood and to ensure he's on the right dosage, but apart from that, all's well!)

Thanks again to everyone, particularly Pebbles (and Lydz and Paul!!!) and Nicholas!

Much love!
