	I think I would eat a stuffed Maisy the Mouse too! Does anyone remember the "Maisie" movies? (There were ten of them before the 1950's). That's were my name came from. Maybe you'd like her better than Maisy Mouse!

	Hi everyone, I'm the newest member at this moment. I Have never heard of Maisy the mouse, but I love reading how everyone got their name. Who knew there were so many different Maisie's out there??!! My mommie named me Maisie because she was a 30th anniversary presant to herself....and Maisie in Gaelic means pearl, and the 30th anniv. gift should be pearls.....and I'm a white Maltese....and....well, she thought it all fit perfectly, white dog, white pearls, pearlish name...daddy didn't see the humor in it, but I have definately won him over....whether he wants to admit it or not!! thanks for inviting me to your group, I am sure I will love it!
