I can't tell you how many times my dog has been called a Poodle! I know he may not be a purebred Crested, but he's a rescue, give him a break!! He's also gotten Bichon, Maltese, and my personal favorite....Labradoodle. Yes, my 11 lb. pure white fluff ball looks exactly like an 80 lb. lab/poodle mix!

Everyone mistakes Maisie for a Jack Russell, even her vet thought she might have a little JR in her, but she's %100 Chinese Crested. We only find it annoying when folks insist we must be mistaken ... like we would lie about it. shrug

We get poodle the most (although that's 1/2 right as he is half standard poodle) but usually people don't even think he is a DOG! We hear mini donkey, goat, hiena, and everything in between. People really think we have a different kind of animal going for walks with us!
