Daisy was my pound name. I don't respond to it when anyone calls me - I don't respond to any other name either. wink My new foster family has been trying out other names. I've only been home with them for 24 hours, but they've yet to come up with a name that really clicks. Maybe this weekend...puppy

I got my name Moses because I was training for S&R and my mom wanted me to lead the "children" out of the wilderness. But now I just search for lost people in the City and I leave the wilderness to others. I don't mind traffic and oil and noise. Most of all I answer to Mo Mo and not Moses.
Beatrix- Kiddo

Yard? What- yard?....

My female did not like the name I had when she adopted me, but was unable to come up with anything that suited me better, until that is, she got to know me.

She first thought I looked like Uma Thurman if Uma would have been a dog, then I managed to make some great, outstanding escapes (I don't do this anymore) and give the other dog here some good kung fu chops with my longs legs. That is when my name came to her, Uma Thurman as Beatrix Kiddo in Kill Bill, long, legs, great escape artist and knows kung fu. A great name that fits my larger then life skinny frame personality.
Huckleberry- Hound

Whatever!

My adoptive parents are cheesy. They also love the movie "Tombstone". Huckleberry Hound... I'm a hound dog... I'm your Huckleberry. Get it? Whatever. As long as they feed me, they can call me anything they want.
Hank Barras

That's MINE--all- mine!

I'm kinda unoriginal....this has been my name since the very first person who had me, like four owners ago. Since I had my name for so long, my furever owners just kept it.
Roland

Cuddle me

Barked: Tue Feb 19, '08 4:25pm PST
I was named for my daddy's favorite book character -from Stephen King's Dark tower. Roland the gunslinger. However, I'm more often called Roly-poly 'cause I'm so cuddly. I know my name (boy, that took a while!), and I'll look at you if you say it but I don't come when called. Not unless I want to. smile
Albert- Einstein

Albert Einstein- hopeful and- ironic.

My shelter name was Deputy Dawg. Although it made people laugh I didn't really respond to it. My adoptive Mom adored my cluelessness and saw my potential so she named me Albert Einstein. The name Bert suits me to a tee. My mom has been calling me Hubert and love bug lately but say Bert and I'll come running.

When my sisters found me on that cold Christmas morning and brought me to my new mommy--her first reaction was "Isn't she Precious?" and that name just stuck. My entire family thinks that I am still precious (even though I can get into trouble sometimes:nsmile
