They weather looks like it is going to be nice for a while now.... anyone have a favorite park in AACO? I plan on making a visit to Quiet Waters but just haven't made it out there yet. I am usually at the dog park in Crofton. Those are really the only two that I know of except the nasty one in Bowie. I think there might be one at kinder park but not sure. Anyone else have input?

I'm moving to Anne Arundel county next week and I can't wait to check out my new dog parks!! I have lots of great parks to choose from in Michigan, so I hope to find some good ones in Maryland too. My people is already talking about taking a trip out to Quiet Waters sometime this summer so I can go swimming! We found a great dog park in Arlington, VA where I got to swim in the river when we were there visiting my grand-people in Alexandria a couple of months ago - not that that's near AAC, but sometimes a good dog park is worth the drive - and who doesn't love a good ride in the car?!

We also usually just go to the Crofton dog park since it's close to home. Here are directions if needed:

Bell Branch Park. County Athletic Park Complex. Location: Route 424. Directions: Take Rt. 424 N from Rt. 50. Park is on the left about 3 miles. Take Rt. 424 S from Rt. 3 or Rt. 450. Park is on the right just past the Arundel Fire Station.

There's a small dog area and a nice open spot to run, they just added a paved part too.

We kinda look alike. My mommy takes me to Broadneck Park in Arnold.... I really like Quiet Waters but Broadneck is free and the humans are really nice. There are also alot of rescue's there... If you take College Parkway (off of RT 2) very far down ( past Baydale) you will see the park . The dog park entrance is the second right of the park. It is a great dog park......

Just went to Bell Branch in Crofton and we loved it! dog It was a great experience for 1st timers like us and we are definitely looking forward to returning - especially since the only one that we've heard of is the one that everyone loves to hate in Bowie! shrug We'll be returning again soon! way to go
