Hi everyone,

Usually my brother does the posting here but this is an issue I am passionate about.

I was born in a puppy mill in Missouri. Lucky for me, I was sent to a pet shop in the Bronx where my Mommy found me and I got to live a happy life for 14 years but not all dogs are so lucky. Many spend their whole lives in tiny cages in horrible conditions - they are basically like rape camps for dogs.

Even though I got out of there, I had lots of "issues" from being taken away from my doggie Mommy so soon and my vet said I had severe separation anxiety and attachment issues (I always clung to Mommy no matter what).

Most of the puppy mills are in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and now some people are trying to change some regulations so that the dogs in these puppy mills can get some half-way decent care. And you don't have to live in PA to help. All you have to do is send an already written letter to them. You can't email it. You have to really print it out, sign it and send it through regular mail. I know that's a bit more work but these puppies are worth that much and a price of a stamp, aren't they? The letters need to be sent by the middle of March.

So please help the puppies in puppy mills from the horrible inhumane way they are treated.
