I am an older german shepherd/lab mix. I was rescued from the pound by my loving mom 9 years ago. I was wondering if anyother gsd mix dogs have joint and hip pain. I get bayer asprin (drs orders) and lots of love but is there something else that mom can do for me that will help???? I saw that no one had started a topic so I thought I would smile .

Being rasied with GSD's we have gone through this a few times, each time my vet gave cortizone shots to our dogs and it seemed to help after a few days. Talk to your vet and see what he thinks about your dog getting them.
