I don't know about training, but there are trials there.....

For NADAC (more wide open courses, lots of speed and smoothness, lower jumps, very safe on dogs)

Here is their calender, just look in your state:

They have trials in Killawog, Greenwich, Williamsville, Yorktown Heights, Middle Island, Macedon, or Staten Island - I don't know the area or if any are close to you though. thinking

Then there is USDAA (tighter courses, more turns, higher jumps, higher/steeper obstacles)

And here is their events page, go to this page, and in the drop-down box put "titling events":

it looks like there are some trials in Greenwich, and Macedon. Their calender will continue to be updated though and more trials added.

Then you have CPE (sort of in-between NADAC and USDAA, but CPE is VERY nice to beginners in competing - no weave poles or teeter totters in the lowest level)

This is their events page:

It looks like they have trials in Farmington, Garnerville, North Tonawanda , Chatham, Troy, Skaneateles, Stephentown, Holley, Carson City, and Greenwich.

I don't know about training centers though. The best thing to do is go to one of the trials (usually they have to leave you at home though frown) and the humans watch and talk to people - everyone is very nice - and they can help a lot with good training centers. Have fun!

Dazzle way to go
