	Mom and Dad just have to sell the house in DC. Can somone give us the lowdown on dog parks, and dog friendly restaurants and bars and such.

	Hey, MacGregor! We have 2 dog parks in Raleigh, one at Oakwood Park and one at Millbrook Exchange Park. Here's the website for my favorite, Oakwood: http://www.oakwooddogpark.com/ During the spring, summer, and fall months we have lots of doggy events sponsored by local rescue groups, the AKC, etc. They are a fun way to go meet other doggies and get fun free gifts! Most of the restaurants and cafes with outdoor eating areas around here are dog-friendly. I've sat outside with my humans at many restaurants and never gotten kicked out. Some restaurants, like the Village Draft House in Cameron Village, will even bring out a water bowl for you! We also have great state and municipal parks in the area that are GREAT places for long walks and hikes! Hope you see you around the dog park one day!

	welcome! we just moved here too in july! we love raleigh it is so warm and nice here...the dog parks are nice. momma says we are going to try Oakwood soon. we've tried others too - one in Cary and one at Millbrook. we love trails at the many lakes that are here too..we havent found too many doggie friendly restaurants. plus momma and daddy say they like their alone time...what's that?? well welcome hope to see you soon! AUUUUU!

	Mom and Dad came down a couple of weekends ago, they saw two of the dogparks and loved them. We not going to be down there as soon as we thought, though. Dad's job fell through, so he had to find another job. We probably won't be down there before July or so..

	We made it, We're loving our new backyard. We haven't gone to the dog parks yet, 'cause Finn ate my harness grrrrrrr. Once I get my new harness we'll see y'all at the dog parks
