Hi all fellow Bronx Babies,

I know I haven't put out any new agendas since no one responded yet to the issues. I wanted to give more people a chance to join the group. And we can all just be pals 'cause we gotta stick together.

But there is one serious issue I want to bring up again: the Bronx is the ONLY borough of NY that doesn't have a pet emergency clinic!!! That's bad. We Bronx babies are the only ones in NY who have to wait until morning or find a way to get to Manhattan or another borough if we get sick at night and sometimes there just isn't enough time for that. So I would urge all of you to tell your Mommys and Daddys that this is something worth fighting for!!!!!

Other than that, I'm just waiting for the cold to end. My walks are way too short when it's cold. I have my coat but still, I'm only 8 little pounds and I start to shiver.

REMEMBER, EVEN BIG DOGS NEED A SWEATER OR COAT IN THE WINTER. The idea that dogs have fur to keep them warm is FALSE. Unless you're a Husky in Alaska running and pulling sleds to keep warm, every dog needs a sweater in the cold. We see too many people who are bundled up in their coats, scarves, hats and gloves walking little and big dogs who have nothing to protect them from the cold. The rule of thumb is: if you feel cold, then your dog does too.

I just celebrated my 3 month anniversary of getting adopted and I got a talking frog and new ball as gifts. I can't wait for my first Valentine's Day. I know Mommy and Daddy are planning something special. They already decorated Poochie's grave with candy conversation hearts they made themselves with wood and paint and other stuff.
