Ripped Dewclaw

I seemed to have ripped my dewclaw on my front right leg. It was bleeding a lot and my mommy is really worried. I didn't rip it off just twisted it. She is afraid to try to cut it because she doesn't want to hurt me. What can she do to help me?

When I first got Mya she had double dewclaws on both legs. The vet kept saying that she would be fine with them as long as she didn't do anything that could possibly rip them. Unfortunatley she has ripped them 3x. It was then that we decided to get them removed when we had her spayed. The vet added on an additional $75.00 since she was already going to be under anesthesia we didn't have to pay to get her put under again. They kept her overnight to make sure she didn't try to rip open the stitches and we got her back the next morning. Later that day she was running around, up the stairs and everything. She was good as new. So I suggest getting the dewclaws removed immediatly before you sibe rips them again. Ouch!!
