How often does everyone herd? Is it something you do along with other sports? Do you have "your own" sheep to herd? Is it something you take classes for and do a certain amount of times every month?

We have sheep lessons about once a week locally with his breeder. Our real trainer is 2 1/2 hrs away so it's sometimes once a month..sometimes once every 2 months before we can get out there for lessons or a weekend clinic.

We also have agility lessons 1x aweek plus mom teaches obed classes 1x a week. So Festus is involved in obed, rally, agility and herding and we're always doing something daily...

Wow, you're super-active! That's so cool. Sounds like you have a lot of fun, too! Mom is going to get me started in agility right away, and there is a farm not too far from us that offers herding instruction. I can't wait! Later on we want to try Disc dog and maybe dock jumping...

Hi, Im new herewave
I just got my PT title last week and will be entering Started Course A, Sheep on July 13 at rasberry Ridge in Bangor PA. I am also entered in the Novice/Novice class at the PA State Sheepdog championships in Hop Bottom Pa on June14 and 15.
Like you guys I also train weekly at a local farm and am a demo dog at my humans training school. I fiddle around with Agility but am invloved with Comp Obed. I am trialing in both the UKC and the AKC Open class.
I would love to keep up with all the things you guys are doing so add me to your freinds page
