So if you have been to the dog park here in Bloomington, let me know your thoughts on it! Do you like it? Are there quite a few dogs there? Actually, I don't even know where it is located? If anyone has any info. they'd like to provide about it please share!!!

The one dog park I've been to is the 'unofficial' dog park of bloomington. To get there, just head north on Dunn Street, go through the intersection of Dunn/45-46, and it'll be about a mile or two down that road. It's a large fenced in field right next to Griffy Lake.

If you go in the evening, there can be up to 50 dogs there at a time, but since its a little colder and the weather hasnt been that nice, you could prob expect between 5-20 dogs there if the weather is ok for the day.

Titan really enjoys going because the dogs are all really friendly there, and there's a lot of room for them to run around and play.

New "official" doggie park is slated to open Fall 2007. The details are still really vague but it would be on the west side of town near the fairgrounds. We have our paws crossed!

Any updated news on the "official" dog park? We just moved to town a couple months ago and haven't made it out to Griffy Lake yet, but it is on our to do list. But we would also like to know more about this other dog park! Thanks!
