Do any of you dudleys have trouble with skin problems? Every year, I have difficulty - I get covered with red spots and have to go on antibiotics and take benedryl. The vet says its a staph infection. It comes back every winter. Thoughts?

Hey I have that same problem in the summer. It has been so hot here and I get very red crusty spots under my arms and legs. (Very embarassing!) I get a bath every week with Septiderm shampoo and am now on a round of cephalexin. This seems to help. My mom makes sure she gives me good food with no corn, wheat or by-products and some extra Omega Fatty acids.

I've started a grain-free food now, and I have seen a holistic vet who prescribed EFAs (essential fatty acids - omega 3's) and also an aryurvedic supplement called Neem. It seems to be helping.
