Does anyone out there know much about microphthalmia or how she can be tested for it.
I know it does not make a difference now, but if there is something I can do for her i would.
She might not even have it but she does have a prodominent 3rd eyelid and her eye appears to be smaller, but i think she can see out of it ok-her vision could be limited. Any advice or suggestion would be great -Thanks Ryan

Hi there! Oscar has a prodominent third eyelid as well, and this alone can be the indicator of Microphthalmia. The eyes don't have to be abnormally small.

Surgery isn't necessary, as long as it doesn't cover up the entire eye (as in extreme cases). Even then I don't think there is much they can do for them.

These little guys adapt well though!
