Sure I'm pretty,- but I'm BAD TO- THE BONE

	I haven't had a dog since I was a kid, but I've yearned for one my ENTIRE adult life... So, while I waited for my dream to come true, I thought up pages & PAGES of names for my future dog (that's IF I ever GOT one...) I had names picked out for males & females; little dogs & big dogs; cutesy names & tuff dog names... September 2005: My dream finally came true in the form of an 8-week old, male Maltese puppy. So after narrowing down that long list of names, I finally decided on the name: BAM-BAM. (It's from "The Flintstones", a cartoon from my childhood). It's short & snappy, and not too common. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. I LOVE his name, but my BAM-BAM could care less! Because when I call him, he only comes when & IF he feels like it (or, unless there's a treat in it for him!) All that work picking out a dog name for nothing! Oh well... SO TELL ME: HOW DID YOU SETTLE ON YOUR DOG's NAME?

	I remember the flintstones. Thats a cute name. My reasons a bit naff. I thought she was beautiful and since Bella is Italian for beautiful i thought id call her that. I have no Italian connections, im scottish but Bella was the only 'beautiful' word that could actually be a proper name too

	I know it's been a while... but maybe someone's still reading this thread.... My first name means "God's gift" and Christmas was because my Mami got me just after the Christmas season! So that's how I got my name... My God-father named me!

My mom and dad- nicknamed me- "T-Ball"

	I went in to a pet store one day to look for a puppy for my mom, since she had to put her dog to sleep. Guess who ended up with the puppy.....ME! The minute I saw him and held him, I named him. I said, "oh my gosh, he feels and looks just like a teddy bear". That was it....it took only a second to name him TEDDY!!! !

	Before I got Missy, there was a dog that lived next door named Missy. it was a great dog. it told us when our visitors had arrived (it had a view of our driveway) and would wait by the fence for our return from work etc. I'm not usually superstious but I decided that I would name my dog after that dog in the hopes that she would turn out to be similar... amazingly she did!
