Hi there!
I saw this picture of a chessy on the cover of Dogs In Canada a while ago, ever since then, I wanted to know more about this breed. They are beautiful dogs. Yes, they are mistaken as labs all the time. I have a 13 month old yellow lab, named Bosco. In the near futur I would love to have another dog. The Chesapeakes have caught my eye. I would love to hear your experiences with your chessies. Any information on them would be truly appreciated!!!

i love my chessie she's wonderful and is the best thing since having my 2 boys. somedays she's better i think.
well she's great with kids (as i think chessies all are), somewhat pertective of her surroundings (not in a bad way though), learns quick at anything she does (picked up obedience and agility fast) and next spring we are going to try the field trail stuff, when she was 9 wks old we went out camping and my husband shot a grouse...we didn't know for sure if he had shot it and she was gone and retrieving it...with out any commands, that's amazing in my books.
we all love her to bits and i am currently looking at bringing another into our home.

Hi there.
I just wanted to say that your Lexus is a beautiful chessie!!!
I noticed on your dogster page, you live in Alberta. I do too. Just wondering if yout got Lexus from a breeder? I've been looking online for a breeder and have only found one in AB.
