Jezzy has an appointment set up for Friday to get the 8 hour test (not sure the name) done to see if they can get a diagnosis of cushings. I was just wondering if maybe anyone could give me an idea of the next step if it comes back positive. Ultrasound/MRI's to look for a tumor? Thanks in advance, you are all wonderful! It’s so nice to have people to answer questions and calm my nerves.

Our beagle passed away recently from complications of Diabetes and Cushings disease. She had all the symptoms of Cushings but passed away before she could be tested.

Her story can be read here:

I am new in this group and I 've been diagosed with cushing 2 years ago.
I don't have (other than the potty belly and hungyness) other symptoms - also my alk is normal - mommy checks it every 3 months but my ultrasound showed an enlarged liver and spleen
Mommy doesn't want me on Lysodren (side effects0 and anypril (not effective)
they say that this disease has no cure - the medicin is just to alleviate the symptoms which are very mild for me so ...
Also a doctor on an internet site said that sometimes with Lysodren some dogs get Addison instead
Well two years passed and now the doctor says that I am almost 10 years and it would be better live it as is -
Please - help !
