Anyone else had a "nose job"????

I just recently had surgery on my nose, cuz of "Stenotic Nares". Where my nose holes were too narrow. Mommy was a nervous wreck and they made me spend the night. I had stitches in my nose. I would try to scratch my stitches on the carpet, so mommy had to get me a "collar". Everyone said I wouldn't like it, but mommy put in one me and told me how pretty I looked then I wanted to wear it all the time. (Just like my alligator halloween costume, my friend Yogi gave me) LOL! So I finally got my stitches out, but mommy doesn't seem to think I breathe any differently. She says she can see where my nose holes are bigger but doesn't think I breathe any differently. Have any of you had this done????

Hi Harley: I haven't had the "nose job" but I have had some foster brothers and sisters that have had it done. Some of them had nostrils so small, I don't know how they managed to breath at all! Did your vet also check you for an enlongated soft pallette? That goes hand in hand with the "nares". Good luck on your recovery!! I know you'll do fine!
