Dane Doggies- of Va Beach

	Hi ya everydoggie!! It is us ... danes doggies of Va Beach! We are Americans but were still invited to join da group! We are quite honored! Mommy said dat if she believed in previous lives, she finks dat she would be british! She just loves British comedy!! And she had a friend dat was born and raised in Leeds in da UK. We haf joined lots of dane groups dat haven't really gone anywhere. So we hope dat dis one becomes very active! We would wuv to be part of a fun dane group. Just to introduce ourselves, we will start wif our sister, Maggie Grace. Mommy and daddy found an ad in da paper and went to see da puppies and fell in love wif her. Dey bought her from a backyard breeder but have since learned not to purchase but to rescue!! It was while Maggie was a growing puppy dat dey went to an event at Mt Trashmore in Virginia Beach where dey found out dere was a great dane rescue!! Dey were asked to be fosters by da area director. A couple of months later, dat is when Mason Layne came to live wif us!! Not long after dat, mommy heard from another group dat she participates in calledThe Dane Train, dat dere was a poor dane girl dat was only days away from being put to sleep. Well poor mommy couldn't let dat happen!! So Chyanne Hope came to live wif us. Mason and Chyanne were da best of friends!! But den Chyanne gots sick and died only two days before mommy's birfday and 9 days prior to Christmas last year!! It was not a good holiday for poor mommy. Her heart was soooo broken. But 3 days after Christmas, mommy got a call from our previous vet (she now works in a vet office dat we goes to!!) who had known mommy rescued danes and loved her danes to death (and she knew mommy had a broken heart for the loss of Chyanne) and she told her dat dere was a dane girl in another shelter dat was going to go to da bridge soon if a foster was not found for her soon! So mommy was off and dat is how Sadie Katherine came to live wif us. Daddy was not too happy to hear dat another dane had come to lif wif us because he fought dat dey had dere hands full wif da danes dey had. He was out of town when mommy brought Sadie Kate home. But when he came home, he too fell in wuv wif Sadie Kate. But he gave mommy a hard time always about bringing her home wifout talking to him. But mommy got even wif his help!! BOL This past summer, daddy had talked to one of mommy's friends who had known of someone who had a dane dat dey couldn't afford to feed and keep up wif it. So finally mommy's friend talked dem into giving dem up and called daddy (whom she had been talking to wif about it!!) and dey went and got Skylar!!! Now daddy can't fuss wif mommy about Sadie Kate cause he did da same thing wif Skylar!! But mommy wuvs all her danes very much. She is working on putting weight on Skylar (and coming up wif a middle name!!) but Skylar is so active and so full of energy, it has been much more challenging than it was wif Chyanne Hope (who wasn't quite as skinny as Skylar was but you could count her backbones and see her hips!!) to put weight on her. But we are slowly doing it. But dat is how we haf become da Dane Doggies of Virginia Beach, Virginia!!! We look forward to meeting youse all and having much much fun!!! Woofers!!
