	Hello to my pack! I was wondering how many Islander Huskies on here. I am from Massapequa (south shore of Nassau County). I would love to meet some Husky friends! I go to Cedar Creek Dog Park in the Seaford/Wantagh area. Anyone want to hang out sometime? Also, I was curious if there were ever any Husky related events on LI. I always see rescues in other states having Husky walks, etc, but I was wondering if there were any Husky related events in our neck of the woods?

	Hiya! I am in Flushing Queens and LI isnt too far away from me! I dont know of any Husky related event in the nyc , the closest event i've heard of is in NJ. I actually went to a husky hike event last September in PA hosted by Tails of the Tundra! it was awesome with huskies everywhere!!! and it wasnt too far a drive to get there either. I believe it was around 2 hours drive. Maybe next time we can do a car pool for the event, or maybe we do our own here ! our own little husky social! yeah!

	Not from LI either, but Brooklyn isnt too far away im sure. Mommy says she wants to find others huskies for me to play with, but we can't seem to find any in NY, would anyone like to set a play day with me?

	Hi everyone, I'm new to the group. My name is Cain and I live in Plainview right on the Nassau/Suffolk borderline. Mom, Dad and myself would all love it if I had some Husky friends to play with. Maybe we can get our own little get together going. We can alternate between a park on Long Island and a park located between Queens and Brooklyn. We go to the Westhills dog park and every so often we'll see other groups that will meet there to play. Mom thought the coolest group was the Newfoundland group. Some of those dogs were over 220 lbs and we met a 9 month old puppy that was already 130 lbs. Boy are they big and beautiful. I know that the Westhills park will sometimes have a few husky's show up, but they are few and far apart. It's a really big park with lots of trees and grass and they have bags for our parents to clean up after us and benches and water. Hey maybe we can even march in a labor day parade as a group. We have the golden retreiver club and the greyhound club marching in our parades. Why not show everyone how beautiful and terrific dogs we are and start our own club. Everyone tells mom and dad that we are runners and hard to keep. Let's prove them wrong. We are great dogs and make terrific family members. My parents would not give me up for the world....
