Okay pups here's the deal:
I think collies are brilliant dogs, beautiful, smart and absolutely adorable. I also belive that way too many are killed in shelters each year and that soemthign needs to be done.
I currently live in Germany and therfore can't do any hands on volunteer work but I wan to help out any way I can.
So this i what I would liek to do, I would like to brainstorm with you smart people and try to see if there is anything that we could do to help out rescues, to get more collies adopted to raise awareness to educate about the breed.
If you have any ideas, pelase post or p-mail me. I know this might not lead anywhere but it's worth a shot, right?

That's a great question...I work in public relations, and have actually rescued collies in the past - Jake, my darling lad, is a rescue!

To raise awareness, we need a good hook - whether it's the DVD release of the new "Lassie" film or a good local story that can be pitched to the Associated Press or Reuters. We also need a good spokesperson - maybe someone from CCA?
