	Just curious how all you other Rudys got named. I was named after the guy in the movie Rudy because I'm small but have a lot of heart. I can take on much bigger dogs when I need to. At least I feel like I could.

	When I was brought home from the shelter as a pup, I was only ten pounds. I guess I was too tiny to be called Duke. This turned out to be a good thing because I love being called Rudy!

	Ha....I am named after the character in the movie Rudy as well! My mom had never even heard of the movie at the time, but my dad pushed for that to be my name. It suits me though. I like being a Rudy.

	It is interesting to look at all the photos of the Rudys and see if there are any similarities. They are all very endearing without being too"cute" in a poodle kind of way (nothing against poodles!) plus every one of them obviously has a real big character, maybe that's because we are all a bit on the small size! I find it fascinating to read all the varied stories, it's getting to be a bit too addictive! There is also a Rudy up for adoption so lets hope he finds a home real soon. 	When my mommy was little she had a dog named Julie, but her mom called Julie "Rudy" which was short for "Dog-a-roo." So it's from that and also after Rudy Guilliani.

	My family came up with a lot of options for my name, but no one could agree on anything until Rudy came up! Everyone liked that name for me,and my nose IS kinda reddish-brown... 	Hey Rudy - (Rudy- (Revelaire's- NYC Mayor) - I am named directly after the mayor!! My full name is Rudy Doodle-iani!! LOL My parents are from NYC, moved to Florida 2 years ago. So when my Mommy got me for Xmas that year before they left she wanted to name me Rudolph but my skin-brother wanted to name me Doodle. So Rudy Doodle-iani was born!!! Now I'm just Rudy though. Not so official anymore!!

	When Mom found me at the shelter, she had to wait a couple days to get me. The first name she picked for me was "Rudy". It just fit. We went through all kinds of other names, they just didn't fit the bill. So, Rudy is was and Rudy it is. I am the Rudster.
