Hi every one. May's "Loving Friend of the Month" is............ Drum Roll, please. Xena Blackburn- a new and very loved and missed member of many groups in Dogster & Catster. Here's her interview:When's your birthday?: September 15, 1999

What was your personailty on earth?: Xena is the most loving little gal we have ever had. Many of our friends say that she does wonders for their blue moods, high blood pressure and stress. All they have to do is come and have Xena climb into their laps and they calm down, become happier, and their blood pressure decreases ( Which I have checked and it does go down). Xena is a real trooper. She is also the mothering symbol of the pack. She makes sure all the other members have clean faces and if any of them yelp she is right there to check and see if they are all okay. She is the smallest of our Clan and one of the most Loving & Gentle little gals we have ever had~but she will NOT take any guff from her pack mates and promptly puts them in their place when they get too rough with her. She loves getting dressed up in her growing wardrobe of pretty little dresses and sweaters. She is a FULL time lap dog!!!!

When did your people get you?: When she was 8 weeks old. November 1999

Tell us a funny story about you on earth: When Odie & I use to play for hours on end. Odie was much bigger than me but he would always let me catch him and I would grab on to his ear or collar and hang on for dear life and he would run and run all around the house with me flopping up and down like a rag tied to a pole in strong winds never touching the ground as he ran, if I started to lose my grip on his ear or collar he would slow down so I wouldn't fall and get hurt and then wait for me to get a better grip before taking off at full speed ahead again. We use to do that all the time. Mom and Dad would laugh till both of them hurt at our chase & play and has always regretted not having a movie camera to get some of our play sessions on film. Odie was the bestest big brother a gal could ever dream of having and I was blessed to have him as my Big Brother and now we are reunited again at the Bridge only separated for 4 months. We will wait together for us all to be reunited with the rest of the members of our loving family.

Hi every one. December's Loving Friend of the Month is.......drum roll please.......LAKOTA. She is a fairly new Angel who is greatly missed by her mommy. Here is her story and Interview: "Ohh thank you , I am very honored..Here is my story well first I'll answer your questions...When's your birthday?: I dunno really.. I was nearly 20 when I crossed tho...

What was your personailty on earth?: Well.. When I was a young thing my mom didn't know me, I was a dog for some homeless guy who got himself in some sort of trouble and gave me to some other people who couldn't take care of me so they put me in the shelter when I was around 10.. I think that the shelter was about to put me down then because of my age and I did have cataracts in both my eyes, but my mom talked my dad to go to the shelter "Just to look at the pups" and she fell totally in love with me and I went home with them.. All I know about my former owner was that he had to have loved me very much because I was a very good dog who thrived on love..

When did your people get you?: They got me when I was 10 or so and had me another 10 years... I was a part lab part Newfie so I was a big ol lug.

Tell us a funny story about you on earth: I am not sure this is so funny.. but mom's son had a dog named Jack.. anyhow.. We live kinda in a very rural area and have no fenced yard and had the woods to explore.. And. of course.. I would always come home.. but this one time.. it was awful... Jack was barking like crazy at this weird drain pipe.. My mom who is sorta disabled came to investigate what was going on and what do ya know.. there was a couple of HUGE Racoons in that pipe.. Well they finally came out and started running towards my mom.. Well there was NO way I was gonna let anything happen to her.. so I got between the angry racoons and my mom to protect her.. I got bit.. mom rushed me to the vet, but He assured mom that I was vaccinated against rabies so I should be ok. and I was.. But NOBODY messes with my mom!!! not even evil racoons!!!.. the other thing is when I was still able to jump on my parents bed... I would tear apart their bed and snuggle down in their pillows until mom came home.. then she would first thing .. crawl up on the bed with me and sing songs to me.. I was a talker .. So mamma would kiss me on the nose and say Ummmmmmmm Hummmm and I would say Ummmmmmmmm hmmmmmm.. I could also say I love you.. PLUS.. I was able to teach the other dogs to howl.. We had howling lessons.. it was fun..

Again.. thank you so much for this lovely honor... It actually means so much more to my mom than me.. I am great now.. no more pain... I can run and jump and frolic.. My mom however.. still cries sometimes when she thinks of me.. I so wish she would find her peace... I did...
