From Nikki's DGP post in health forums 09/10/06: "I always had concerns with this product as the company does not disclose the entire ingredient list. I called the company awhile back, to inquire of the entire list of ingredients.. they would not give it out. so I just recently read in Whole Dog Journal.. that many others had an issue with this too. I guess the DGP company finally said they would disclose the entire ingredient list to veterinarians only. I was wondering if anyone here has asked their vet to contact DGP and has received the entire ingredient list. if so, do you care to share what you found? I would like to know what the undisclosed ingredients are."

Harper: We always wondered if Doggie Aspirin works, we haven't tried it though. So far Harper is still fairly young and doesn't seem to need it yet. Seems fishy that they only want vets to know the ingredients. For pain we have used a homeopathic formula called Zeel- all natural ingredients. But when Harper took it he was on so many other things at the same time I don't know which ones actually made him feel better. Hunting season is coming up- If he gets sore we would probably use the Zeel again. It's made for people but approved for veterinary use.
