My mom read about dawgie daycares and asked me how i would feel about it. I did remind her of the fact that i don't like other dawgs, but Chub D would. But then i wouldn't have a place to hide during thunderstorms, if he is gone. (I usually hide behind him) So she is considering looking into have a dog sitter, but is concerned on how hyper we can get and how strong Chub D is. Any suggestions I may be able to give my maw?
Thanks
Peace

I heard that most (at least the good ones) will screen us to see if we are social enough to be part of a doggie day care. My mom is wanting to enroll me into the Dog Scouts of America! Can you believe there is such a thing? Camping, training, agility, behavial modification and so much more. I looked over the web site and it looks like my mom will be getting some training to. She thought about doggie day care for me, but not for an all day thing. She said that they have a couple hour long play date type things, where she can drop me off and go shopping then get me when she's done. I like some dogs more then others, so hopefully I can pass any screening I'm put through.

Hi there! Our Mom wishes she could afford to put us in doggie daycare because we LOVE playing with other dogs and both she and Daddy have jobs. You're right... most doggie daycares we've heard of do a temperament test and make sure you're up to date on your shots and "fixed" (whatever that means) before they let you come play. The man who trained Mommy and me, Mr. Mike, has a daycare place out here on Long Island that seems soooo fun! I wish I could go! Mr. Mike lets dogs (if they pass the temperament test and everything) try daycare for a day to see if they like it... maybe that's something you could try. Good luck!
