Greetings all Texas Tech Pups!!! Did you know that Texas Tech is only one of two Big 12 schools that DOES NOT license pet clothing???? You can get a Tech collar or leash, but for those of us who are fashion conscious, we can't get t-shirts showing our support for our favorite school. Mommy has been in contact with a company that deals exclusively in sports related pet gear, and the lady that runs the company told mommy that all Tech had to do was to tell their licensing agent to add the shirts to the list of officially licensed products. Mommy forwarded the e-mail to the Tech athletic department but never got a response.

So here's the deal. Mommy is a firm believer in civil disobedience (she teaches government), and she says that no matter how small a group is, if they complain really loudly, something usually gets done. So, how about all of us who would love to have a Tech t-shirt of our own write to Gerald Myers and the Board of Regents and ask them to please license pet clothing- not just collars and leashes (remind them that pet products are the fastest growing market in retail sales).

Mommy says that if Tech doesn't license pet shirts soon, she's going to put me and Kate in UT and A&M shirts and parade us in front of the Administration building (I look terrible in orange and maroon).
