Hi-
I have been with my new Mom for 1 yr now. Almost to the day, I have decided that I trust this is my new forever home. I let my Mom know this by, finally ,initiating snuggling with her and going close to her and nuzzling my head under her elbow and putting my head close to her. She has been hugging and petting me almost since I arrived but, for some reason ,I held back. I was always happy to see her, wagged my tail, and have tried to be very obedient girl and made friends with the cats and birds. I think when I saw that big chopped chicken liver birthday cake and I got to eat it all by myself that I knew that this was going to be my forever family and I was never going to be on my own again! When did you decide to trust your new family?

I still am not sure about my mom she is always hugging and kissing me sometimes I run away but it sure does feel nice so I sneak back when she's not looking and give her kisses on her hand I am still careful not to get too close.
