 | | Barked: Sat Jul 8, '06 4:48pm PST | |  | |  | | Everybody wishes that they were me. I've got a bunch of cute dresses with matching bows. I've got shoes too but I'll have none of that. I pretend my feet are stuck in cement (that usually makes everyone laugh). My mommy makes me pretty necklaces and bows. I go to Hobby Lobby to help her pick out the best beads! When I go places I've got my choice of Petote, Celltei or Sherpa carry bags. I even get to go to work with my mommy almost everyday, the ladies at the office get mad if she leaves me at home. They love me and I love them right back! I think I'm the luckiest Maltese in the world. How many of you are like me and my mom? I'd love to hear about where you get your best outfits and goodies.

I have a cute coat with a rabbit fur hood, but the other dogs get confused and try to eat me in it. I have a few sweaters, some t-shirts - Grandma just bought me a new one at Disneyland! My mom says I'm getting shoes this winter, but I'm trying to convince her that they will not be going on my feet! I didn't like them when I tried them on, despite her convincing argument that they match my coat. Ahhg! I also have a halloween costume, but it's not all that flattering. | | | | |

When I was little my mama had a collection of little bags, dresses, shoes and bows for me along with all the toys I could ever want...but now that my brother Levis is in the picture I just want to be a tom-boy (unless it's cold, then I need my tiny knitted jumpers).
Besides, I couldn't wear my shoes if I wanted to; Levis ate them!!!

| | Barked: Sun Mar 22, '09 11:03pm PST | | | | | | It's definitely fun being spoiled! My mommy also takes me to work with her. She feeds me cooked meats like lamb, chicken and beef. She also feeds me organic baby food that supports my vital organs and keeps me healthy happy and tear free.
My diet:
organic meets from Whole Foods Market (ground lamb and chicken, freeze dried beef by Stella and Chewys
yogurt, plain/whole, sweet potatoes -(organic baby food)--great source of Potassium (provides neurological support)
oatmeal, banana, chicken breast, avocado--great sources of B6 (supports the immune system, brain function, nervous system)
green peas, split peas (baby food)--great source of B1/Thiamin (brain, depression, memory, learning)
Foods that support a healthy liver in Maltese and other loved pups:
carrots, spinach, wheat germ, broccoli, vitamin supplement/milk thistle.
Oh and I love my new Holistic Vet! She suggests that I pass on the Wild Alaskan Salmon oil and use Nordic Naturals Cod liver oil instead. It's way better for me, she says. My vet also wants me to take Standard Process Canine Whole Body Support Vitamin.
I love the variety of food I eat and I feel some much better now that I don't have to eat dry food all the time. Mine was called Great Life. It was ok but kind of plain. I still snack on it every now and then.
My mom loves me a lot and I love her too!
