	Hi, my name is Savannah. I have been a member of the group for awhile and noticed that no one had started a thread yet. I thought that it would be a great time for everyone to get to know one another. I won't be shy, I will go first. My name is Savannah and I am a pure bred Cairn Terror um, terrior. I like to dress up, play fetch, swim and bark! I can also do some tricks. My best ones are spin and shake. When my Mom talks to me, I cock my head back and forth from side to side. Mom said she really thinks that I am listening to her when I do that. I am normally an inside dog but love to play outside when given the chance. We live in Georgia and it is really HOT here! Mom has to watch me closely because I will play and play outside regardless of the temperature. Oh and Mom calls me her little shadow cause I love to follow her around and sit on her lap. Mom said Cairns aren't supposed to be lap dogs but I think I missed Cairn class the day they taught that lesson. I guess that is about all. I can't wait to hear all about the rest of you! Savannah

	Hi, my name is Domino. PV stands for "Piss & Vinegar" cuz I can get a little onery. I'm a Shih Tzu, but at 20 pounds and with my coloring, everyone who meets me thinks I'm a Lhasa Apso. Suzy says I must be honest and tell everyone that I am a BIG WUSS. I don't much care for baths, and HATE the hair dryer and grooming. When I had a cold in the spring, I was a big baby about it. I sometimes run back to the house whimpering when I hear big dogs barking somewhere. Okay, Suzy, now can I talk about my good side? Thank you. I love to play "cowboys" with my pal, Johnny Thunder. So I've become the "NM Cowboy of the Alamo Gang". Sounds tough, huh? I am such a poser! I am mommy's shadow also. Suzy & I follow her everywhere--even the bathroom, which annoys her at times. We are very lucky pooches, cuz we get to go to work with mom every day instead of being left at home. YEA MOM!!! Can't wait to hear about the rest of the group!! Woof, Domino

	My name is Shasta and I'm an American Pit bull terrier. PLEASE don't be afraid of me from what you've heard. It's ALL LIES! I'm neither people nor animal aggressive. I LOVE to dress up but do find it hard to get my size. I guess most pet stores figure it's just the little dogs that like to dress up, but that's the furthest from the truth. Mommy has decided to make me clothes and that way they fit just perfect. I love jewelary too and have tons of necklaces and fancy, one of a kind custom collars. I wear sunglasses and even running shoes. Only one thing I have to wear that I really don't like is my full face wire muzzle. You see, because I'm a Pit bull breed, my province of Ontario, Canada has a first of it's kind in North America Pit bull ban. I'm mommy's Service Dog, but even so, because of my breed both mommy and I are restricted. I'm just glad that the general public has a postive attitude when they see me and see my nature rather than my breed. But then again, how many big doggies do you see dressed so pretty walking down the street. I think the muzzle gets me more hugs and pats than even before because they feel so sorry for me having to wear it. BOL

	Yes, it's really the owners and not the doggies who need to be banned when they let dogs get aggressive. We have a pitbull friend, Abby, who lives in CA. She doesn't have to wear a muzzle--lucky her, huh? Anyway, she's says that people react totally different to her--much better--when she's dressed up. Suddenly, they aren't afraid of a pit bull any more. Strange humans!!!! So, we try to encourage our pit bull pals to dress up just so people will not be afraid of them. Domino
