This post is about how to name your dog. So if your mommy or daddy are getting a new pup then they should read this....If you are a traditional person then you should go with a name like Ginger, Rufus, Bowser, Fido, Spot,or Rover. If you like to be realistic and have everyone notice you then go with a name like Lunch, Treat, Snack, Poop, Dinner Bowl, Walk, Where's the Squirrel, or Steak. If you'd like to confuse people and say the opposite of your dog then when your dogs small call him Hulk or Hercules. When he's big or giant then call him Tiny or Scamp.

Dad said my naming procedure was really complicated. When I was rescued by East Lake Pet Orphanage, they called me "Java" because I was coffee-colored. Dad is a computer nerd so Java is a programming language, so that was out. He said I looked more like Guinness, anyway, but that's not really a good dog's name (unless you're an Irish Setter or something.) So, he chose "Murphy" because that's another Irish Stout. Then I needed a middle name because all my brothers have one, so he looked up the founder of Murphy's Irish Stout, and it was a man named James Murphy, so he named me Murphy James. Mom just shook her head in disbelief.

meme said a good doggie name comes from something that happened the day you are found.

meme found a lost white chow doggie once when she was a teenager. Meme gave him a bath because he was so muddy from playing in the creek by her house. When he was dry he was very fluffy. She called him Fluffy just because his hair was so fluffy, but he immediately seemed to respond... Later when the owners listed their ad for him being lost, it turned out the doggie's name was FluPPy, because he was notorious for running away from home and playing in water or creeks. The owners said they combined Flipper (like the dolphin), and Fluffy, to get FluPPy.
