	My name was chosen quite obviously from To Kill a Mockingbird, but also where I live, there's a quirky little store that has THE BEST off the wall gifts. Year after year it is consistenly named the best gift shop in town. It's name??? Boo Radley's! So when my mom and dad got me, they decided because of my white color the name "Boo" would work, but they wanted something a bit more creative- and loving the book, and also the local store (they always get crazy Christmas cards there) they went with the full name Boo Radley.

	Hey Boo & Boo. It's Atticus Finch here. Attie for short. Mom's friends were helping her pick out a name for me before she picked me up. They went through a lot of Scottish names and settled on a few. Mom was always thinking in the back of her mind that she wanted to name me Atticus Finch, after the best lawyer and kindest human being there ever was. (Okay, she knows he isn't real, but we let her have her fantasies that he exists. LOL) Her friends weren't wild about the idea because they thought Atticus sounded too much like Attica, as in the prision . Well, my mom is a civil rights lawyer, and she had a particularly good week that week before she picked me up. That did it for her. She decided right then and there that her little boy was gonna be named Atticus Finch. The heck with what everybody else thought. When everyone met me, they kept saying, "You've got big shoes to fill, Atticus Finch." Well, mom says I fill the shoes just fine. Thanks for inviting me to the group. Atticus Finch

	Thank you for inviting me to join this fantastic group, Wesley Boo Radley Mueller! I suppose my human parents liked the irony of a very big name for a very little dog, but I intend to live up to it... I am big in spirit, after all! I do know that the original Atticus Finch is one of their favorite literary characters of all time, so it is definitely an honor to be named after him!

	Hi Attie: My mom too loves "To Kill a Mockingbird". Atticus definitely rules !Mom still gets goosebumps when he walks out of the courtroom after losing the case! The book and the movie are so incredible. The message is so relevant even today. She loved Boo because he took care of the Jem and Scout, especially Jem. She thought that this would be the perfect name for me. Boo

	My mom named me for Boo Radley, too. To Kill A Mockingbird was always her favorite book in school. Now it is her (people) daughter's favorite book, too. I don't know who Boo is or what Boo did, but I kind of think my name is cool.
